Ambassadors
meet your ambassadors
As the welcoming arm of the Chamber, Ambassadors are there to welcome new and existing members. Ambassadors also assist in acquainting members to each other so that new business opportunities may occur by encouraging business and community connections.
As the driving force behind many chamber sponsored events – an active group of Chamber Ambassadors helps to improve communications within the business community, which in turn strengthens the image of the Chamber as a whole.

AMBASSADOR’S MISSION STATEMENT
The primary mission is the retention of existing Greater Pasco Chamber Members, enlistment of new members, and goodwill representatives of the Chamber at a variety of functions. This energetic group of people helps maintain contact with other Chamber members while promoting the Chamber of Commerce and its purpose.
What is a Chamber Ambassador?
Ambassadors actively advocate for the Chamber, communicating the benefits, programs and privileges of becoming a Chamber member. Through enthusiastic Chamber representation, Ambassadors seek opportunities to educate, promote and share the benefits of Chamber membership with the business community. It is an honor and privilege to be selected as an Ambassador for the Chamber. Serving as an Ambassador offers a great deal of visibility and builds credibility for your own business, while generating stronger relationships for the Chamber in the business community. This Team will be limited to 40 Ambassadors as this is an Exclusive Prestigious position with the Chamber. Once the Team has been established, all other applicants will be waitlisted and added as positions become available in the future.
Our Ambassadors play an essential role in member recruitment, communication and retention, assisting with monthly meetings and annual events, as well as attending ribbon cuttings.
Ambassadors gain business exposure by being the first to meet Chamber members and put their company’s name in the forefront. By volunteering at Chamber events and attending Ambassador meetings, they are kept current on what is happening within the Chamber and our community.
The Ambassador Program provides opportunities for you to meet local business people and build lasting relationships. Additional benefits include:
• Increased name and face recognition for you and your business or organization • Excellent networking opportunities • Potential media coverage from attendance at Chamber events • An insider’s perspective of the local business community
• Introductions to local business and community leaders
• Training on professional skills
• Special invitations to Chamber events
• Recognition via “Ambassador of the Month” and “The Rosie Heim Ambassador of the Year” awards
• An opportunity to demonstrate community pride
Requirements to remain an Ambassador:
Diligently attend the meetings and various events of the Chamber. Be a member in good standing of The
Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce and participate in programs and activities sponsored by the Chamber.
Participation in the Ambassadors program requires a commitment on both the part of the Ambassador and
his/her company. As many of the Ambassador Team’s duties are within regular business hours, if you are not
the business owner, you must obtain permission from your employer to participate in the Ambassador
program. Ambassadors are asked to make a one-year commitment to the program. Chamber Ambassadors
can expect to attend 3-5 networking per month fulfilling expectations. Although we do not charge a fee to
become an Ambassador, each Ambassador will be required to purchase an Ambassador badge. It helps
identify those who are active in the group. It helps promote the Ambassador program and facilitates our
activities as official representatives of the Chamber. Badges are worn by Ambassadors during networking
activities and other Chamber special events.
